In addition to Professional Counselling Qualifications Joanne has also undergone specialist training with nationally recognised organisations including CRUSE Bereavement Care, Terrence Higgins Trust in Coventry and Birmingham working with HIV, AIDS and sexuality concerns, ASSIST Trauma Care in Rugby working with Post Traumatic Stress/Disorder, Safeline Warwick working with Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse, Family and Friends Leamington Spa providing support for individuals with a Drug and/or Alcohol dependency and their families along with the Area Child Protection Committee and Relate Coventry

Joanne is a Network Clinician for a number of Corporate Employee Assistance Programmes and is listed on the Practitioner Database of the Eating Disorder Association UK.

Joanne also writes and facilitates workshops and training days including Understanding Eating Disorders, Understanding Bereavement and Relaxation and Meditation.
